lights flickering

just wondered if anyone else has had this when driving slowly ie onto drive etc headlights flicker and radio display flickers when steering turned also noticed reverse lights are same when there on thought it could be battery fault thanks in advance

Power steering is driven by an electric pump and demands a lot of battery juice. Perfectly normal for the lights to flicker a bit. Not seen a Vectra (or Astra come to that ) that doesn't do it.

sounds like the battery or alternator is playing up matt, best get it checked out asap

car has network q on it till middle jan would this be covered if they were faulty

Should be mate...my HID on the passanger side started to flicker...no idea why also...checked battery and alternator to no avail...

Mine does it too.

I wonder if it is engine size related (or battery size related - bigger engine may mean bigger battery)
