    Default De-badging

    i want to de-badge the 'VAUXHALL' badge off my vectra C on the rear strip and replace it with something head turning....

    Any ideas ?

    talking of debadging can you remove the chrome strip off the boot

    I think removing it would leave some nasty hole's.
    A few people have colour coded them, and they look great.

    anyone know what sort of mess will be left behind if i remove my V6 3.2 off the chrome strip, and how to do it.

    No mess at all.

    Pour over a kettle of hot water and use either a old credit card or fishing wire and cut into the soft foam glue behind the badge. Excess gunk will come off with a scrape and bug remover.

    i removed mine when i debadged the back and took the vectra sign off but quickly put it back on and cost me £12 i think

    I have a Holden badge inplace of the VX one, looks quite nice imo.

    When I removed my VX badge there seemed to be a etched like mark left, so not always clean cut.
