Vectra C Traction Control Switch

i have removed the switch cover checked to see if i have a blue plug.... i have,so ordered one from my local dealer £9.99 not bad,a mate has told me even when i plug the switch in when it arrives it still might not turn the tc off? if this is true is there any mods or wires to join to sort this?

Yes It still might not work. There is very much a "hit and miss" thing with this TC switch. I fitted one to my 3.2v6 and belive it or not it did not work. So good luck fingers crossed, mind you the switch looks good and fills in a blanking cover.

Plasma I think was looking into this. It may have been GG also who was looking at it. But it comes back on again at 40ish anyway.

You mean all canbus equipped cars - or all modern, decent cars anyway.

No. Most in the preface lift do but most of the lower spec facelifts don't have it as the chassis was supposed to be so much better they didn't need it.
