here is one for you lot,excluding the 1.9 diesel engine what has the later model got in common with the vauxhall range fiat_croma ?

Yep, I believe it's the same 2.2 direct engine as in the Vectra. Part of the ill-fated GM/FIAT collaboration. The new Grande Punto also shares its underpinnings with the latest Corsa.

I've had 2 Punto's an R reg from new never missed a beat, and a 52 plate that I traded for the Vec, again that was sound got that when it was 6 months old

yes,it has the epsilon platform so shares the same fllor plan as the vectra,also the engines are all vauxhall/opel (diesels being fiat in the first place) excluding the diesel there were no fiat engines used,it was not very popular with i believe only 980 sold to date,so you can buy a fiat with good engines
