    Default Code 170

Hi I have an 03 1.8 vectra and a couple of days ago the engine light came on so I checked it with my reader and got code 170, fuel trim. Cleared it and all was well untill today it came back on with the same code. The car drives ok when the light is on and after it is cleared. Anyone any ideas what the problem is. Is there a sensor in the fuel system that needs looked at? Any help much appreciated. Thanks

Dont know as it comes up with fuel trim on the code reader. Does this mean it is the lambada sensor that is at fault?

really need the subcode for it as well, could well be the lambda sensor out of range due to a faulty MAF sensor they worked as a closed circuit system so if one if out it could throw the other way off too making it think its faulty...

need a proper reader for that matey, either tech2, vaux-com or possibly snapon... the subcode has probably about 6 different possibilities... if code 170 is the lambda sensor it would defo be cheaper to try than a MAF... but need to confirm first that P170 is lambda..
