Looking to buy a Vectra.

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a vectra c (facelift). I've driven the CDTi 150 in hatchback form - cracking drive, but I'm told the estate handles better? - any truth in that?

Just wandering if there are any things to look out for on these...common faults etc...?

I've been offered a 57 plate sri cdti 150 with colour sat-nav for £7495 from the local stealership - so I'm pretty set to go if they're reliable cars?

If it's under 20k miles that's a good price tbh.

I take it you've had a look on autotrader as well.

Not had a look on autotrader - think I'd prefer to get one with all the netQ trimmings tbh.

That car had 11,600miles on it - so plenty of life in it :P

Only looking for a weekend car too, so it aint gonna put the miles on that quick.

Thats a good price for "57" Plate CDTi,it is a buyer's market at present,so bargains to be had,common faults,well to be honest they should be all ironed out by now with the Insignia coming out soon,ppl have had a few issues but not on a car that new,so i'd say go for it......
