You wont believe this!!!

A friend of mine had everthing stolen from his house on Saturday night!

There where six people asleep in the house when somebody broke in through the front door.

They didnt know anybody had been in until a fellow cabbie knocked at 8am sunday and said Ernies cabs around the corner!

To cut a long story short they stole every personel belonging down stairs wallets, laptops, phones cameras etc etc.

Plus:-

58 Reg Civic Type R - 200 miles on the clock
08 Reg Vectra Club
57 Astra SXI
Black Hackney Cab

The result so far is the Civic was written off and left on a motorway junction with no front end, the vectra has just been found and the hackney was found the same day with the keys still in it. The astra has not been seen since.

The reason they got in was the double glazed front door was not locked only the handel turn up from inside and they open very easliy according to the police, so if yer have doors like this make sure you lock them!!!

Had they been out drinking and comatozed upstairs. thats a heck load of stuff to be pinched would of been a gang probably had the lot in a matter of minutes.

Only the Mum and dad had been drinking and they came in at 1:30am.

The others hadnt gone out.

You can lock and double lock your doors etc but i always say this; if they wanna be in they'll be in, you'll never stop 'em! Xmas, credit crunch etc the thieves are out in force beware! I suppose the best detterent is a dog, my mate's got a Rottweiller, soft as muck he is (just like my mate lol) but if anyone was to make the mistake of trying to break into his house the dog would rip 'em to pieces, just how it should be! Poor Steve on another thread has had his car nicked overnight too.

My mate's dog gets the run of the house when they're in bed, well downstairs he does anyway.
