Rear creaking/cracking noise

Ok for a while now i've had this annoyinh creaking/cracking noise coming from the rear.

It's very easy to demontrate, simply drive over a nice high speed bump slowly, front is quiet as a mouse (had front drop links replaced) but rear creaks and groans.

Checked by 2 VX dealers with 'no fault found' so now i'm at the stage where I'll be doing this myself if I can (wont be done under warranty now anyway).

Anyone know what to look for? Is is the rear trailing arms thingys? Antiroll bar joints??

If anyone has any advise i'd be very grateful. My baby has now done 60k, still runs sweet as a nut, just this annoying rear noise.

Mine is making a creaking noise aswell at the rear been doing it for a while now since about 24k now on 28k still driving me mad seem to happen on flat roads with little dips and all that

I have a similar thing although it's more of a muffled clunk. I can't find the source after looking. Seems to hold the road ok though.

I had creaking noise at 30k, found to be rear shocks..

how will i tell if it is the shocks that are playing up?

could it be my suspension bushes??

Jack up rear, remove wheels and remove shock..the offending one on mine was pretty much solid(couldn't compress it) takes about 10 mins to remove,test and refit.

Mine sounds more in the car than shocks. I'll do some testing when I get a spare 5 mins.

i have this same sound coming from the front, been there for a while, i've had my mate bounce on the car but no creaking, can only hear it whilts driving
