    Default Car cover

With winter here its hard to keep the car clean. With the garage full of bikes, tools, freezer, washing machine my car wont fit!!! So was thinking about a cover. Anyone use these? will they scratch my black paintwork?

    Seen this one? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Complete-Car-C...1%7C240%3A1318

As Dean said and the ones that don't cost a lot of money. All depends if that bothers you of course, I know it would bother me.

I have one and find that although it keeps the rain, snow and bird crap etc off the car, it does seem to sweat and when you remove the cover the car is very wet.
I know at least it's clean and protected but the damp just makes me wonder if that is actually likely to cause damage and ingress as it's trapped. Only use it for car shows now and when the car is in the garage to keep the dust and kids finger prints etc off.

I think car covers are only useful for use in a garage when you can put the car away clean.
