Default Fitting a new exhaust, garage or home?

I would say i am fairly handy with cars, however dont like to take on big tasks as it always take far longer and i get frustrated.

So i have a Full system Magnew set up coming through question is, Garage or try at home?

Simple job or can it be a bit of a ball ache

Best go to a garage. Unless you have a ramp at home. PITA trying to fit an exhaust on your drive, i done it with a mates car, not a fun job

Well I've fitted a full BSR sports exhaust on mine just on stands - and that was full downpipe/sports cat and the rest of the system so it's perfectly doable at home - but yes it's more difficult to do. If it doesn't all fit neatly at first and needs lots of adjusting then yes it can be a ballache. Fortunately for me, and Mark (GSi3.2) the BSR kit all slotted in perfectly to all the hangers etc.

If your local garage isn't charging too much then that may be the less hassle route.

Ill take to the garage then
It is for my car so i am hoping it should fit with not many complications. BUt knowing my luck there would be a few and id be stuck on the drive with no back box having to drive to the garage

    Cheers
