Xbox prob's Again

Just finished playing Rock Band on my Elite turned it off then back on again cos I thought I'd watch a DVD and hay presto ERROR 73 and bottom right red light on, Bu66er this box didn't even make a year

Lucky I've still got my old 360 to use till the Elite is fixed, just got to find a box from work and send it off!!!

Blimey, I thought the Elites would have been sorted of any problems like that.

What's error 73 then? Doesn't sound like the RROD?

E73: General Hardware Error: Ethernet port... this error is caused by a problem with the Ethernet port.

just got my elite unit back last week after i had the same error code 73 note of work carried out said the motherboard had been changed, came back to me in under a fort night

Thats not to bad then I think it only took about a fort night last time I had problem with my old 360 witch I'm using for the time being

But you got no worries with Xbox Support all sorted and will be on the way to Germany tomorrow morning

am not saying xbox is s**t no no no
but i do think the ps3 is worth the extra money
got a wii and then after 3 mouths it started smoking and thats not even playing every day i left it for weeks before playing it again
and the xbox has the red ring problem
and the ps3 .............nothing realy
remember not saying xbox is s**t al am saying is that the ps3 is that little bit better

Just an update I got my Elite back today and the motherboard has been replaced

Now let's see how long this one last
