Be intereting to wait and see if GM go bump- in which case insignias will deffo be cheaper with no warranty!!

True - though I found that sitting there saying 'No' to the first few offers from the sales bloke got nearly as much off (the first two offers are part of the 'game'; just stick with it and keep pointing out different reasons why the price has to go lower) - £18.5k down to £12.5K, plus £2k of extras on top of what I'd asked for on a car that hadn't been built yet. He'll have still made enough on the various bits of the deal to mean he could afford a tin of beans to go with his bread and water that week...
