    Default Instrument illumination

Driving to work this morning and the instruments slowly went dim. I have never adjusted the dimmer before so I tried to increase brightness and nothing happened. A while later it came back to normal suddenly. Then dimmed down, then up, then down for a while, now the radio is dim and the rest is bright. I can adjust all other lights apart from the stereo now. I have tried locking up and restarting the engine but no change.

    Any ideas?

    Yep that's what I thought.

Must get it sorted under Network Q, so far.
    1) Light fault
    2) Steering rack loose
    3) Anti-roll bars noisy

    Hi
Sorry to ask such a newbie question but, this Network Q warranty,, is that only new cars? like the warranty you get when you buy a new car? or is it a "known issues" warranty if your car has a fault that was a recall but was never done? I have a 03 vectra, obviously no waranty on it now. Does this Network Q thing apply to it?

    Thanks
    Pete

A network-q warranty is for 2nd hand cars. It won't cover your 03 Vectra, unless it was sold to you with a net-q warranty that is still current.
