Vectra 3.0 CDTI Elite Remapped

Alright guys, im new to the site but just wanted to share my up's and downs of my first 3 days of a Veccy owner :-)

Friday- Part ex'd my gay looking ex girlfriends 1.2 micra which ive been ragging about for the last year for a shiny 05 Vectra 3.0 CDTI Elite they gave me 3k for the gimpmobile and had to cough up 2.5k which i thought resonable.......Went to fill her up from the garage no f...ing cap on fuel tank!!!!!!!!!!!! Garage was shutting so thought id just get a cheapy and make do...........

Sat- Noticed a buzzing noise coming from the light transformer in the boot just when lights switched on (went away when i braked??) too dark to investigate further

Sunday- had a good blast out in the car but noticed a juddering when on the motorway doing 70???????????? thought it seemed like running out of fuel judder but had half a tank........went away so ill need to keep an eye out??

Monday- thought id get the old girl remapped as theres a good offer on at the mo (£300) and wowser am i doubley pleased i did.......Its like a rocket ship (that handles like a blamonge may i add :-) and the buzzing mysteriously went after i had it re mapped so im grinning from ear to ear :-))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Ive just been reading the egr cleaning thread and might give it a clean if i get anymore judders.....

Hopefully smooth motoring for next few days/weeks/years

I dont think an 05 plate will be a Euro 4 facelift?

The guy in TD tuning has the same car in sri spec and hes had it done for 12 month thats why i decided to go for it today... ive read the threads on here and was very very unsure on wether or not to have it done but what the hell ill let you know if it blows up the fuel pump DOH!!!! Fingers crossed it will be fine

Caterman should be able to help out with this. He had it done on his Elite 3.0 V6.
