    Default cdti clutch and fitting?

Had my mate on the phone asking if i would fit a clutch to his bosses vectra estate 1.9 cdti ...said it was slipping its head off!!!

Well i declined the offer as time and stuff stops me doing homers the now...

I asked how much he had been quoted..

    Stealers want £ 1450

    is this right?

I know its a fairly big job...but the only quoted him 6 1/2 hours..

    chris?

It looks like they are including the cost of a new dual mass flywheel along with the cost of a full clutch kit. I see that you are quite local to me, what dealership did he go to? It all sounds a bit much for a clutch.
