Brake Wear Light

as above is still on even after fitting new pads , any ideas anyone

The wear sensors are separate, and therefore also need replacing.

There is one sensor to the front and also one to the rear, i think they are about £6 + vat each i think, dont quote me on the price

A quick fix until u get the parts - cut the end off nearest to your brake pad and splice the wires together , this will knock the light out.

only one sensor.. fitted nearside front....

i had new front pads fitted today. I have just joined both wires together on the sensor, just for now. This has turned the light out.

Do all spec levels of Vectra have the warning light for brake pads???

I believe so - up until the facelift where they dropped it.
