Back to a Vectra..

Well, have been talking to dealer today, asking what i will get for the Volvo,
got a S80 2.0T SE, auto with every extra (sat-nav, TV, Phone, 3k worth of
special DSTC and ally wheels, etc), was 32k when it was new.

Said I fancy a Vectra V6 CDTi, auto, said i would prefer an Elite (he has 2
SRi's there), told him i ain't looking to pay anymore for the privilige.

I had a 2.0 CDX and a 2.5 V6 SRi of the old shape, the SRi was brilliant.

The only thing i'm thinking is is the standard radio in the Elite up to standard?,
'coz if i decided to replace it with an Alpine then I will loose the sat-nav (if it has it) and the computer.

Will have to see what he comes up with, the Volvo has the turning circle
of the titanic, have to search for a parking space when i park.

He said probibly looking at £13-15k for mine, so should be able to get a good
one for that.

Thanks lads,

Tend to drive the misses Zafira GSi more than the Volvo anyway, easyer to
park, and the seats (Recaro) are brilliant, and it rearly p#**es off Suabrus
from the lights.

Will have to see what dealer comes up with, would like it to be in Star Silver,
think thats the best colour.

depends on which volvo stereo you had.. the one with prologic had awsome sound... but the cd70 in the elite will be able to put up a good fight, there's less bass reverberation than the volvo but not much less, but just as crystal clear! and the volovo couldn't play mp3s! the cd 70 can

The radio in the S80 is the top of the range Dolby Pro-logic, sounds brilliant,
almost as good as my old Alpine.
If it has the MP3 feature then i won't need a mult-changer, can stuff loads
of CD's on one.

Will have to see what the dealer comes up with.

Not told the misses that i'm thinking about changing yet, she like the Volvo
on long trips, VX loaned me a GSi last year and by the time we got to
Peterborough we both had numb bums, when we got home her back was bad,
the dealer said that the ride in the Elite is a lot better, and the seats are
softer. The seats in her Zafira GSi are brilliant.
