The suspension on the Elegance/Elite is very soft so not inspiring when you're cornering. Lowering it 30mm will make a big difference, adding matched (shorter travel) dampers (shocks) will enhance it even more. I put the Irmscher full kit (-30mm) on my Elite and it completely transformed the handling.

There's no getting away from the fact that you will end up with a firmer ride - that's the nature of lowering - so it just depends how much firmer you are happy to have compared to now.

Mines lowered 45mm on sri shocks and its made the handling much better. it was pretty good with the sri springs but the lower springs do make a difference but as duncan said it is much firmer and can be harsh especially on bad roads

You can start with just springs but if you going lower than 30mm i would recommend getting shorter shocks(sri ones at least) or you could get the bilstien b4 shocks and they pair nicely with eibach springs but again no lower than 30mm. your other option would be coilovers.

You could get airbag or hydraulic suspension but unless your going to do your car pimp my ride style then i wouldnt bother

ive lowered my signum approx 35mm on cobra sport springs and the ride is spot on ideally id have changed shocks too but tbh i do not fling the car round corners so for me the looks and stance of the car were far more important than handling worth noting that the siggy design comes with sport suspension so lowering springs along with the sport shocks will give slightly better results on these models, ive noticed no adverse effects from lowering my car well apart from the back seat leather rubbing lol but highly recommended mod imo
