I never realised my best mate is friends with the sales manager at my local stealers (ive already been speaking to him about the insignia) While we were out last night i brought him a few strong shandys and convinced him to let me have the insignia off him for a night (as he is getting the demo) So roll on dec/jan

Agree, I've driven the 160 Diesel auto and didn't like the auto, but that said I'm not keen on autos.

I've a 160 Diesel Elite NAV manual plus VXR styling and flexride on order which should be delivered end Jan, so lets hope I'm not disappointed!

hi will insignia be part of vec-c owners or what is happening cose vec got to go in march and will proberley get insignia but dont know whitch one yet depends on how mutch tax got to pay being mines company owned i like 2 0 litre turbo 4x4 with nav+ dvd800 but found out you cant play films only for mp3 cd format so was bit disapointed when heard all that unless any one knows of anything differentv to add to that story some one on vxr- online was talking about what bits work and what doesnt so i dont know really at moment?

The DVD800 doesn't play films but you can play mp3's from DVD and USB, so not all bad. The USB appears to be limited to 2G though.

The company car tax on the 4x4 is too high unless you earn enough not to care and then you probably would go for something else. Convinced myself that the 160 Diesel is the most sensible choice tax wise.

I thought the 2.8 auto was better than the 2.0T manual when I drove them, didn't rate the ratios on the manual at all when mated to the 2.0T. Would like to try a manual on the 2.8 though.
