How long can you keep the wheels spinning?

I can make mine wheel spin. But the TC light comes on. Once I really booted it and the car just seemed to go no where, then the TC "cut out" (it had done it,s job) then I shot off again. So yours might not be working. I wonder it it could be a fuse?? What engine do you have? I have just looked in your profile 2.2 so you should have TC.

There should be a noticeable loss of power as the TC does its job, if you boot it really hard.
Perhaps 45oorpm is the "ceiling" TC lets it rev to?? then cuts in when it sences the wheels spinning.

If the TC has gone due to a fuse then there will be no ABS wither as they both work off of the same circuit so get the fuse checked this is not only an MOT failure but u are putting ur life and ur families if the ABS is out.
