    Default Windscreen Scratch's

    Hey Guy's,

On my new Vec-B, the windscreen appears to have some scratch's on it which are in line with the way the wipers go, I would assume that its from dodgy wipers in the past.

Can anyone recommend how I can get rid of these and/or what to use?

    Thanks.

same as paint work, a course compound and a machine polish will help

T-cut do a glass polish now. Excellent product. I used it myself on mine when I git it. Sod's law there was a couple of small scratches but were right in the line of sight for the driver.

Axe handle, a call to your insurance company, closely followed by Autoglass visiting and hey-presto, £50 later you've got a shiny new screen.

Some insurance companies now class that as a claim on your policy, check the small print
I had that with my last policy, argued with them for ages over a "free" windscreen reapir that shouldn't have affected by NCB

Toothpaste is another trick as it has a very fine cutting compound it.

I found that when you wash/wipe on the Vectra B the wipers move first then the water squirts on to the scren. By then the wiper blades and grit have scratched the glass.

    No, totally serious G.

Use the Aquafresh 3 stripe one because

    Sum like the blue stripes,
    Sum like the white,
Sum like the red stripe; but that's alrite,

As you can see Aquafresh is all three,

3 in 1 protection for your Vectra B!!!

Snowman, you got your ears on?
