rear exhaust box

car due its mot next week... should sail through the test .. back box will prob need changing soon getting a tad thin on one side were the muck must get to it....

been to 3 exhaust places and i carnt belive the prices they are quoting std 1.8 rear box non sri the bent pipe one all 3 £110 all in ( kwik fit said will need the rest of the system as wiill pack u as you carnt put a new exhaust on to an old part YEAH RIGHT) said can get it for £80 fron main agent said best they could do at cost was £95. and fit it your self . even seen them on ebay new fron exhaust fitting bay place for £46+pp... may have to go for a custom rear twin set up

Don't know if single box is same as one of dual exits but VX want £186 for EACH box on my 04 2.0 T. Full system from dealers £998 .75 PLUS fitting. Local fitter can supply + fit for £850, so as on other thread, I'm off to MIJ (Walsall) next weekend for full stainless system, £365 all in. Even the dealer parts guy said he was embarressed to tell me the cost. Your'e not that far away and as I found out once one bit goes the next ain't far behind. Taped up the boxes only to find one of hangers has now gone. Halfords could do each box for £85 + fitting but doesn't have chrome tip.
