After reading a post about user having 9k left to pay on a 55reg Vectra i decided to look into mine.

£8000 left to pay on a 56plate Exclusiv.

Yet i'm seeing 08 sri's for £7500.......Long story short.....I now have a 57 sriNAV for a total (including finance charge) £7600.

Has 33'000 miles my Exclusiv had knocking on 100'000 sri has 4xelectric windows and loads of other factory options.

Go check your deals i would of payed £8000 for a car that was right now worth 4k. I had to be 50% through my payments though.I was obviously.

I think what he's trying to say is, he owed £8000 on his 56 reg exclusiv which was worth circa £4000, as he was more than half way through the finance term then he could choose to hand the car back to the finance company and end the payments.
After doing this he has now bought a 57 reg SRi nav with 70,000 miles less and now only owes £7600.

BTW the dealer said the price drops are partly due to difficulty in securing finance deals stoping them shifting cars.
