    Default Remapped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well it didn't take long to do something to it but the Alfa has been "tweeked" today

I had a really good offer as a member on the Alfa forum so a very nice man from Angel Tuning turned up today to remap the GT.

Before anyone jumps up and down with the old phrase "remaps should be done on a rolling road" most maps are "Generic" and even if done on a RR the figures can be "manipulated" to give you whatever you want How many people have been to different RR's and got different results each time
The best RR is the "seat of the pants" feeling. Mine has certainly been improved, the step when the turbo cuts in has been removed so the acceleration is much smoother. It was tested thoroughly by us both before he left on my normal routes and the results were superb. Deffinately an improvement over standard, pick up is so smooth and through the gears it feels much quicker

They do so many Alfs's that i have no problem trusting what they say is true. They reckon around 45bhp/60lb ft increase and i have no reason to doubt it. They do have a RR at one of their branches so obviously the maps are tested to get a benchmark figure.

They also do group buys with up to 33% discount for 11+ cars done at a meet/RR day etc. Even 3-6 cars gets a 20% discount Might be an idea for the future folks

Anyway, i'm happy with it, if the dealers flash the ECU for any reason it will be remapped FREE. If i really need the map taking off for any warranty work at all (not that the dealers could find the remap) they will put it back to standard then remap it afterwards, FREE. If i'm not happy at all within the first 14 days they will refund me and put it back to standard.

Not many will do that Off for a play

They reckon around 195bhp and 280lbft. Well within what the gearbox can take. Certainly feels like it too

    Veccy/Signum prices vary from £275 to £325 http://www.angeltuning.co.uk/pdfs/carmake/Diesel32.pdf

    With a group buy 3-6 cars -20% a 1.9CDTi would be £240

and they can give me an extra 40bhp and 60lb ft.......so my car would be roughly the same as it is now and half the price of 888. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm very interesting indeed
