    Default Steering Fluid.....

Just went to check the level on the power steering fluid as the light keeps coming up and disengaging the power steering...(that another story)
How on earth am I supposed to check and top-up the fluid!
If I’m looking in the right place it's under the headlight?
Anyone else tried to check theirs? How did you do it?

This PDF should help guys (two documents combined into one).

To get into the tank to check levels etc. involves removing a front panel! All the info is there. It's normally meant to all be maintenance free, so you want to be finding out why you're losing fluid in the first place!

BTW - unless you've got a Signum with the 1.8 engine, you'll have EHPS, not Compact EHPS.

often wondered how you get to the power steering reservoir, what a lot of messing about, mines ok I don't think I'll bother till it goes wrong!!!
another case of design over useage(theres a gap we'll put it there)
reminds me of the vauxhall ads when Griff Rhys Jones did then with the sardine can!!!!

That looks a bit involved. Glad mine's easier to get to, over the back between engine and bulkhead. Sits on top of steering rack, it is the 1.8 engine.
