XP or not XP ?!

Hi,

My car has a factory fitted XP kit - but when doing any online insurance quotes etc, the XP never comes on with the inputting of the registration, I always have to click amend vehicle details, then select XP.

Is this a problem or can it be changed anyway?

spooky, was - am - going to check my policy tonight, mainly because I have flakes, if its not on the policy I am going to ring the insurance company.

no you cannot change this info as it would have been set by dvla,if it was a specified option then i would contact your insurance company,i originaly had to declare my factory fitted 18" alloys as a modification,then after another phone call they agreed the car was standard from the factory and i did not no longer require to declare the wheels,and a £22 reduction in my policy

I think mine comes up as SRI NAV XP on the insurance info just from my reg

On my log book it Says Astra (yes, I have an Astra)

SRI CDTI X PACK

So surely this information would of been passed to the DVLA?

Mine comes up as an XP too. Might have been registered incorrectly when new.

XP = Exterior Pack (bodykit type thing)
