Default Hints please on changing headlamp bulbs

    Facelift 2006 1.8 model.....
I know that I will need to lift the battery cover, and remove the neck of the washer bottle on the near side,
What about the off side? can you remove the air inlet hose, the air filter box itself?
how do the covers come off? any tips for removing the clips without loosing them?

i'd leave the airbox alone on the offside and just work with the space that you've got. just remember that the headlamps twist out of the housing, there are no retaining clips to worry about, until you get the bulb out of the holder that is.

i found it easier to leave the airbox in place, but to disconnect the air feed from it

this just requires undoing two jubilee clips, and opens up enough room to get your hand in without scraping your knuckles.

Passenger side you remove the filler neck bottle by just pulling it out with brute force to give you more room.

I got my hands in ok but do give yourself plenty of time and be prepared for skin loss from knuckles etc.
Its slightly worth it though if your replacing with better bulbs
