I personally think the Vec will beat it quite happily with all that torque?

Off the line in 1st gear the Corsa would move forward. Then 2nd and upwards the Vec would just pull away.

what does it matter, I've got a 1.9 150 and an Astra G 2.0T and they are soooooooo different cars, that I cant compare them. I bought the Veccie for comfort, economy, space and a positive drive, whilst the Astra is my hooliugans car - completey different. Unless your entering a Vauxhall race or something it really is irrellevant!!
