Default EGR VALVE and BOOST SENSOR cleaned today!

In relation to the below thread and having listened to you guys (disel dog) explain what the problem could be, I took off and cleaned the EGR VALVE and BOOST SENSORS today to find them both caked in black SH*T, and 'hey presto' the chugging and hesitant throttle response iv had for the past 2 weeks has vanished!! I'm well happy coz i thought it might have been the injectors and they can be costly to replace

    Thanx for ur help all.

Below is the original thread posted stating the issue:

Cheers Thunder! I did 3 things altogether, firstly I remounted the inlet manifold having done a little DIY to make it stick, then I took off the EGR VALVE and cleaned it up, then I did the boost sensor. I started at 1pm and finished just before 5pm, 4 hrs coz im a novice but thanks to the HOW2's on here I got it done. This site is so helpful and teaches us non mechanical folk how2 fix things that I would usually have to take to the STEALERS! Thanx so much guys for ur help, much appreciated!

My apologies to ANDY W, iv just read through my original thread and it was you who suggested cleaning the EGR VALVE not diesel dog, many thanx!

Fingers crossed the problem has gone for now, until it blocks up again that is!

Ummmm....I have been a little premature in my excitment thinking this issue has ceased, coz today about 1pm whilst driving up a slight incline the issue returns caughing, spluttering and juddering then the SPANNER LIGHT flashes on and off?! Im so god damn confused as to how this could be as it was fine yeasterday evening and this morning on the way to work having cleaned both the EGR VALVE and BOOST SENSOR????

Could there be that much 'GUNK' in the engine that they have gunged up already in less than 24 hours?? Can some1 shed any light on this issue coz im so frustrated and worried my car is dying!!!
