Replacing CCR2006

I currently have a CCR 2006 in my vectra.

Unfortunately cd-r's very rarely work. I was considering using the tape cassette adapter for my zune, but would much prefer to use mp3 cd's.

Because the car is half canbus, i am aware theres no updated replacement for the CCR2006.

I am really looking for something to replace it with but must still look smart.

Just wondered what everyone else has replaced theres with. Have you got any pictures also. I dont know fi ti makes any difference but i currently have a Parrot CK3300 in the car aswell

Re the CD-R issue, the unit is sensitive to the type used i.e. cheap ones being the most likely to have issues. I use Verbatim in mine, and have used TDK, and they work fine.

Thx for the advice unfortunately,

I have tried tdk, verbatim, philips. Using several different writers, different music, with different burning programs, and been very unsuccessful.

I am writing it off to be very sensitive. Although i admit originals work fine.

Much prefer the facility for mp3 anyway.
