    Default Lowering springs and LPG

I have just managed to snap a front spring - so now looks like the best time to fit lowered suspension

The car is a GSi so already 15mm lower than standard.

    My question is:

Without changing the shocks is 30mm or 45mm better to go for?

And becausr of the extra weight in the boot due to an 80 litre LPG tank, I wanted to try and level up the ride. I notice that they do a 45mm front and 40mm rear kit but its not listed for the 3.2?

    Any help appreciated

Eibach's 30mm kit would be the better option james, but alot of members have put the 45mm kit and had no problems,so if you trust your shocks go for it.....

I think i remember reading that with the eibach kit you get a better level ride than with the standard one's,but don't quote me on that.......

You also need to check that your LPG tank stays the correct distance off the ground when you fit lowering springs. I seem to remember there being a minimum distance off the road for the tank.

The current gap between the rear wheel and arch is 2 fingers deep.(1-1.5")
The front wheel gap is as high as a fist? (6"?)

This is what I want to get rid of? Could I just fit 45mm lowering springs to the front and leave the rear untouched?

Probably best to fit a kit that'll lower more at the front than the rear - I wouldn't fancy fitting half a kit.

The Eibach Sportline's drop 50mm front, 30mm rear. I had a Weitec Ultra GT kit on my Mk4 Astra which dropped 55mm front 20mm back, it worked very well. It came with shortened dampers and all. I think they do the same kit for the Vectra.

Some sites are listing the 3.2 with two front axle weights?

    1060kg
    1130kg

    Also saw these: http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pag...roduct=3751965

Could fit these the raise the rear?
