Lost my engagement ring today

.............. think it was either at the Gym or at a coffee shop. I just cant figure out where it could've went as recently its been a bit tight on the finger (hence I'm at the Gym) I'm pretty certain I had it on when I was in the changing rooms after a swim.

Dont know if I'm more upset about losing it or it being flushed down a gutter or binned.

well its not really a proper engagement ring, its jus something the missus got me. I call it an engagement ring, lol. it was platinum with diamonds, very bling...and now very lost too. wait till i tell her

Platinum and diamonds? - sounds proper enough to me m8! It obviously means a lot to you - that's the gutting bit. I think my missus would be mortified if she lost hers - I don't think she'd know how to tell me! Apart from the chunk of platinum and ferking expensive rock set in it! , it's the whole sentimental thing behind it - where I proposed etc.

Really hope you somehow find it.

I feel for you mate, it really does make you feel the pit of your stomach & your right your not sure what is worse the fact you lost it or it has wound up completely lost forever.

I misplaced my wedding ring on one off our many trips to Singapore. Was washing my hands in our hotel suite & took it off. We were checking out for a weekend up at the Malaysian island Langkawi. It wasn't till we were about to board the plane I noticed it missing, so I quickly called the hotel told them the story & that we would be back there in 4 days. Thankfully upon our return to the hotel I went to the security desk & voila a big burly security guy brought it out from the hotel safe. Asked me the standard question of what is the inscription inside etc. Had to sign papers confirming a bunch of stuff & then it was back up to our suite. The relief was tangiable & Mrs Ozz was pretty happy too

Hopefully the gym staff are as lucky retrieving your ring as they were in my case mate.

I know what you mean, I am engaged and have a ring. Not worth much to a shop but sentimentally worth loads to me.

I phoned the Gym at 6.30 this morning when they opened. they found a ring last night. I just need to go in and identify it.. fingers crossed
