North East - MOT Due - where to go?

Anyone from middlesbrough area recommend a decent, quick and reasonable place to get my MOT done please?

i wouldnt have a clue daz, the last time i had to do an mot i took it to cleveland county council!! if it passes there, it'll pass anywhere. but they disbanded years ago.what about tollesby garage, they are reasonable and did my brakes the other week

Maybe a bit further than you want to travel, but I know a certain NE based Mod who has done one or two MOTs in his time and still does.

Just some bloke, I heard that if you slip him a crate of beer the car's miraculously guaranteed to pass!

Oooh I think that was the old rate mate, I'm sure it's gone up to two crates now.

I have used them before, just booked in for Monday £44. Last time I had an MOT done it was £28
