    Default hand brake slipped

was at my sisters and decided to park on the drive,
(hate leaving it on the road) .it was pi--ing down all the time i was there. but when i came out several hours later it was kissing the front end of a polo, so gets in the car and the hand brake is slipped about two notches. theres a small dent, well mad especially as it had the hand brake recall done. the thing is when i had it done i got no stamp or anything to say it had been done , so of to vx to see what can be done.
main dealers A! total useless robbing wa---rs.

Did you get the recall letter initially? If you did then on there was part that you took to the dealer to get stamped and a section given to you and one to Vx and a sticker part that is stuck on the car - usually on the slamplate.

I've had my handbrake recall work done. I was telephoned directly by my dealer and they did the work at a time to suit me. End of story. I received no paperwork saying it had been done but I assume my dealer will have a record of the work having been done, logged against my car Registration and/or VIN No.

no when i heard about this problem i phoned the vx dealer, and they said it was on the recall list so i booked it in there and then.
