So that's it? A bit of spray grease? Mine's been doing this worse and worse lately - especially when cold. Speed bumps are the killer.

Where should the grease be deployed?

    Thank heavens for Vectra-C.com!

im pretty sure its the anti roll bar rubbers, which are easy to get to.
I did mine 2 weeks ago from just laying on the ground and squirting some in. It helped alot, but the squeek is slowly coming back now.
I reckon the best way is to jack the car up and take the rubbers out. I might smother mine in copper slip and then reassemble.

I have the same problem over speed humps on my 54 Signum. I have a feeling it's a problem with the lower suspension arms, they are about £100 plus fitting for each side.
Needless I will keep hold of my dosh and put up with the creaking for the time being.

I've had this problem and it developed into a knocking noise, only seemed to appear after driving for a while....anyway changed the Anti-roll bar drop links and arb bushed and still had the same problem, removed a strut to check all parts for wear and found the steering bearings were well worn and causing movement, stuck a new set on and the noise has finally gone.........thank you god as it was driving me mad!

Default Font ARB bushes - assemble with grease?

I'm just about to fit new front ARB.
Should I assemble the new bushes dry or grease with copa slip as some folk have done with their existing bushes?

    Thanks,
    Dave
