    Default Nova

Just bought a '93 Nova merit plus with 67000 miles on it,full years MOT and 6 months tax on it! What u guys think i should do 2 it and weres a good place 4 the parts.Should i strip it out,fit a roll cage etc etc,or keep it standard!
The body and chasis r almost perfect apart from a little rust around the bottom of the doors and its metallic blue.any ideas chaps on wheel type and colour, and do i strip it!

    couldn't resist!

Depends what exactly you want to do with it? 1/4 miles? track days? etc.

Excuses! - or is it mid-life crisis?!

So waddya thinking of doing with it? What engine is it?

If you stripped it out and popped in a roll cage, tweaked/dropped in a bigger engine you could have a really fun track car.

cage, single seat and calibra turbo lump seems popular. with 6 speed box imagine the power to weight ratio.

Or as duncan says torch it or make it go flying, for a swim...... you get the picture LOL

Sorry ive always been against them since i seen a 1.1 with a great big "YOUVE BEEN NOVA TAKEN" in it.

Depends on what sort of cash you want to throw at it. Got to keep it looking Factory in my opinion. I has a Nova SR D reg so it had the old slab front, loved it to bits but the arches rusted clean though. Replaced it with a Pug 205 1.4 XS and TBH the Pug was a far superior car but I still has a spot in my heard for a nice Nova. If I had the funds a Z20LET would have to be fitted, sprayed Arden Blue. I think i'd try to make a VXR Nova (but without the badges). I'd have to look factory though and very clean lines.

Nar, one in the front and one in the rear for some 4 wheeled action and neck snapping acceleration.
