dash display dies

Hi all, got a signum 1.9 cdti 150, 05 plate, Auto box.
Im driving along merrilly when all the warning lights come on for about 3 seconds, then the dials all go to zero, no temp, no revs, no speedo, no fuel....
Stop the engine and restart, all's well again.
till the next time, maybe once a week, maybe twice a day.....
c'mon folks, make me happy and tell me its just a loose connection....

Try the abs plug to start with, unplug it, clean it and put it back together. I'm sure I have read a bad connection here can cause this sort of thing. If its not that my only other idea would be the CIM. About £300 from the stealers
