vxr air intake
hey i dont know if u guys now this but the "vxr" air intake part no. 9177099 is standerd on the following engines -
petrol - Z20NET AND Z32SE
derv - Z19DTL, Z19DT, Z19DTH, Y20DTH AND Y22DTR
according to EPC3 thats all the fit.....
not sure if this is usful or not but i was goin to get it for ma sri 150 but as u can c its on it already lol
Thats news to me and if it is true it saves me a few quid.
I did notice the other day that my air intake didnt stretch along the top of the Rad but was a short stumpy thing
not saying am 100% correct but i had a look at my work ( i work in the stores of a vx dealer) and did a search on epc3 of that part number and thats the vectra and signum engines it fits
My 02 GSi came with the long, across the bonnet version but now has the short one

Shame i didnt realise this when i ordered it from Vauxhall to get home and see it already in place!? lol
How much are the short versions? I am thinking about the shorter pipe for mine.
