    Default Drivers electric door mirror

    Can anyone help with this...
When I press the 4 way switch to tilt up the mirror moves up AND out! Tilt down moves the mirror down AND in! 4 way switch pressed left moves mirror in AND down and vice versa for pressed right. I am confusing myself even as I write this. Can anyone make any sense of it? I have replaced the mirror motor unit to no effect.

could be the switchpack or the door module, you'd need to either swap with someone else to test it or get a local independant garage with a tech2 to test it for you

Are you by some chance pressing the switch diagonaly, ie in the corner so as not to be directly pressing up. down. left, right. Just a thought.

Thats what I thought! As it happens, you cannot do it and tech 2 shows the switch working ok. Somehow the signal to the door mirror motors has gone weird
