It's all to do with "do-gooders" not allowing any form of discipline any more.

Kids can run riot safe in the knowledge that they are invincible and no-one can touch them. Even their own parents are not allowed to chastise them FFS

The world is being ruined by the "PC Brigade"

Never a truer word said. I speak from experience as a primary school teacher who is at the coal face day-in, day-out.

What the Tory Education spokesman says is right - we have no powers any more.

The main problem is that the Government don't trust us to do our jobs - thus they send in OFSTED inspection teams. These people then say, for everyone to read, how bad/good we are at our job. Name another career that has that to deal with? The parents then lose trust in what we do, especially in a school which has a high intake of very deprived and difficult children (as I do).

These very parents, whose children we spend 90% of our time either trying to help or disciplining, show us no respect and as a consequence, the children don't either.

Like you say, it's getting to the position where the lunatics are running the asylum.

Having said that, I'm glad I work in a primary school. I hear secondary schools are like war zones....

There's only one answer to all problems.

    Wanna know what it is?

Maybe I don't wanna tell you

Maybe I like this world as it is

Maybe a gang of 6 yr olds will beat me up for telling

    Ahhhhhhhh WTF here goes

You have to p*ss ppl off in the same way they do you, punishment is one thing but to be annoying is another, so in the case of the kids make them come to school on Saturday indefinately, or at least thats what you tell them, once you have them broke, i.e oh sir do I have to come in this week it's been 8 weeks now, you slide in the old, well, if you promise to behave next week we'll see about letting you have Sat's off again, but! if you come before me again it'll be 16 weeks of Sat's before you get parole again.

There is an adult version of this, but as it's an open forum I won't list it cos the left won't like it.
