    Default Is this 2.0T SRi a good price?

    2005 55 vectra sri 2.0T 18,000miles £6500

    see;
    http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk...r=&max_mileage=

    according to Parkers, the price is about right but i just thought i'd check what other people thought considering the current downturn in car sales etc.

    thanks

    sorry for posting the same thread twice, it sort of crashed as i posted, on both occations so i thought thread hadn't posted at all :s

    That is interesting that 'wisebuyers' price differs from parkers price by a £grand! that is an astonishing difference.

    I feel like the dealer would tell me to do one if i offered £1000 less than his asking price!

    does anyone have a Glass' Guide price for it, or are Parkers and Glass' not reflecting the current trend in falling car prices? i see some cars (civic type r) are selling for above the Parkers guide price!

    Even the vauxhall site which is Glass's IIRC values it at £4500+- at part ex, they say add £1k to part ex price and that's roughly the price for private sale.

    You got nowt to lose by being cheeky mate, try it! Garages insult us poor buyers every day of the week by offering us f-all for our cars in p/x so why not return the favour, go on do it, wipe the smug look off their faces!
