    Default Wise choice or stupidity

Fancied a change of car for sometime
PX prices are Silly at £1500 for an 03 1.8 Sri
    Advertised it for £4k privately
But now im thinking after buying a house 8 weeks ago should i even be contemplating changing for no reason but for having a change.
Nothing wrong with the old Vectra ive just got a little bored with it.
Do i do the bits ive wanted to (XP rear spoiler, twin exhaust)
Or do i keep it up for sale and buy something else and in effect start all over again doing bits and bobs

I fear though a while itll end up utterly worthless, in know cars depreciate but the thoughts of having something which is worth peanuts when you want to change isnt good.
I suppose if i did do the things i wanted to do it would keep me a bit happier for a while.

It may be worth peanuts at some point, but by then hopefully it won't owe you anything. Plus you say it is £1500 px now, there is a bottom line for cars that aren't scrap, it can't drop much below that price even over the next few years so I'd keep driving it.

In my personal experience and i ain't implying we're the same if you fancy a change then change it, you'll just end up throwing more money at what you have and then change it anyway. If you're bored with it a new spoiler isn't going to make a world of difference to be honest, the number of times i've spent hundreds of pounds just before swapping is beyond a joke. As i say we're all different but i'd put whatever you were thinking of spending towards the new motor.
