    when going abroad i use insulating tape,it sticks on the headlight ok and is easy to remove,plus it does not damage the headlight

    Why don't you just flick the levers? Your 2004 model should have those?

    Anyone needing to find out the levers location on the headlights, it is refered to in the car manual supplied by Vx. if you dont have one u can download it for free from vauxhalls website, just register on the my vauxhall section.
