    Default Tyre Speed Rating Question

Just returned from Kwik Fit and my tyre insurance policy won't honour a 3rd claim in the first year which is what I was half expecting. I'm still fuming however. Garage wanted to charge me £182 for one tyre when I'm 30 days off the start of my second years cover when I can claim a further two times.
The policy only cost £99 & I've had two new tyres already but I still don't feel it's good enough. You buy an insurance policy for the purpose to insure you, not to be tied up with red tape

Anyway it turns out the bus has a mix of V & W rated tyres on it.
Now looking on black circles the W rated tyres which also states are reinforced are cheaper than V rated tyres.
It only gets used for normal family of four domestic use so don't see the need to have reinforced but if they're cheaper is there a reason to get V rated instead?

edit: Just to confuse me more they have a Conti Contact V rated which is reinforced

if you were to have the wrong rated and load rated tyres fitted your insurance company could refuse to payout as you have the wrong tyres fitted, also the reason why you have extra load tyres is due to the extra weight because the vectra c is not a light car
