After some recent incidents, we'd like to just remind everyone of one of the rules of the site relating to buying and selling.....

5. Problem Deals

If you are having problems concerning a trade, such as not receiving goods or money, then consider the situation very carefully before taking your next action. DO NOT POST ON THE FORUM with a complaint or a whinge. Have you allowed sufficient time? Many have been embarrassed due to complaints or comments made only to later find that the sender has been in hospital or otherwise genuinely removed from web access. It happens. If you have followed the ‘Trading Guidelines’ then you will have the other party’s full name, address, email and telephone number. Attempt contact by these means first. If necessary, write to the other party by recorded delivery. If you continue to have genuine and continuing problems with a trader then inform one of the Vectra-C.com admin team, by email, providing FULL information concerning the trade, the other party, what was agreed and any contact from the other party. The Vectra-C.com administrators may be able to help but nothing is promised. It is most important that you advise the administrators of problems – you may not be the only person experiencing such problems involving the other party. If the matter cannot be quickly resolved following notification to the admin team (or the admin team have already learned of problems concerning this individual) then the admin team will consider suspending the account of the other party until such time that all outstanding trades have been satisfactorily completed. The decision to lift account suspension will be taken by the admin team and their decision will be final.

The part in particular we'd like to reinforce is this...

Do not, repeat, do not, and just in case that wasn't clear, DO NOT(!!) POST ON THE FORUM with a complaint or a whinge.

If there is some issue with a deal on the forum - be it delivery or payment - then try and resolve it with the other party OFF THE FORUM!!! DO NOT drag the dispute onto the forum. If it's clear that you aren't getting anywhere with the other party then let Admin/Mods know. As said in the rule, we can't promise to recover anything but we will assist where we can. At the very least we are made aware of it and can remove For Sale privileges etc.

So again - DO NOT POST ON THE FORUM with a complaint or a whinge. This applies to anyone else jumping on the bandwagon and posting as such.

Any such posts or threads will be removed from the forum without any PM being sent to the poster. Mods/Admin have better things to do with their time than waste it sending such PMs when a member simply hasn't bothered to adhere to the rules. If a member persists in continuing to post in that manner despite it being clear to them the reasons why their previous posts/threads were removed then the option of a short 'holiday' from the forum may be the only option left to Mods/Admin. Again, they have better things to be doing than tidying up/running after somebody who can't be bothered to adhere to the rules.

We hope that clarifies things for anyone who wasn't clear - or simply hadn't bothered to read the rules or abide by them.
