    Default Nokia ck7w - astra 05 to vectra 04

    Hello all

just bought a nokia ck7w bluetooth kit with a "vauxhall loom". gent says he took it out of an astra 05.

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=160291033092

Will It slot straight into the back of my cdr2005 in my pre-facelift veccy? I did have an old CAARK-91 i took out, and know i can reuse the microphone... I'm a novice with car audio, but happy to get stuck in.

    any advice is welcome!

ya it should plug straight in mine is an o5 and has the "quad lock" connection the only thing is you will prob av to find an ignition live which you can find behind the glove box at the bk of the use box a thick purple i think its best to check though! i put a ck-7w in mine but hard wired it using the audio outs on the bk of the radio

You shouldn't have a problem - as you have a CDR2005 you'll be half-canbus, and as you've already taken out a CARK-91 you should have the VDA plug behind the glovebox on the right hand side, this provides all the connections you need.

as juzzy said, you dont even need to touch the radio quadlock. if you take the glovebox out, if the plug is there then it will be taped up to the radio wiring harness. all you'll need is a suitable adator which are about £15

    Hi All

chunkster, you're right, looks as if i've not got the right connectors on the car kit. had a look around the glove box, and the back of the radio but can't see anything suitible.

checked on a few astra forums and the mk5 (05 plate) have different connectors to vectra c's.

JuzzyD - what does the VDA plug look like? the two connectors on my ck7w, do i just attach the one of them?

'fraid you're looking in the wrong place, mate. This piccy shows (not very clearly) the plug for the phone kit (outlined in red.) The black box is the ck7-w box.

Yep, its the one SignumPhil has highlighted in the picture (its got a little swing arm on it).

Easiest way is to get a Vauxhall to Nokia Autoleads cable - straight plug and play then.

Mrs wez, any joy with a lead?

i had another look at this setup today and can't see how my lead fits - suprised i need to get another lead when i've got a vauxhall loom on the nokia kit.

if i don't touch the blue connectors ni the back of the cage, i can't see any connectors i can put it to. Has anyone got a photo of the correct connector?
