Default Signum 3.2 Heater fan won't awitch off

My heater woes of last winter have come back to haunt me with a vengance - basically my "Climate" heater system stopped working well a year ago and despite £430 at dealers is still rubbish.

To get things a little warmer yesterday before a longish trip I blamked off half the rad this helped with the engine temp at 90 rather than the usual 80-85 I was a least warmish.

Any way that was not the issue after a 350 mile run around stopped at my sisters stoped the engine and the heater fan continued nothing would stop it, did not know what fuse to pull in fact did not even know where the fuse box was. 2 Hours later and with a flat battery it must pull some juice ! jumped the car and drove 100 miles home, looked up the manual and found the fuse to pull biggest in the box 30A.

So my friends any ideas? anyone got a circuit plan for a 03 3.2 Signum?

    Default £370 to fix !!!

Just been advised that due to my heater blower staying on continuously (draing the battery if I dont pull a fuse) I have to replace the entire motor inc resistor pack.

    Stealer price £370

    Anyone else experienced similar problems

I fould that the drain outlet was blocked infront or the heater air fiilter rreleiving this dumped a cople of gallons of water. I had been experiencing water in the car so perhaps the water cocked things up.

    Default

Probably, the water will drain through the motor and kill it if the drain is blocked
Now I need a turbo to keep up!
