    Angry Help Please need new engine

    I have a Vectra 1.8 (Y reg) and have had some top end noise for a couple of months. (thought a valve might be sticking so was not overly worried)

    This morning the sound be came much worse and was also coming from the bottom .

    Took it in to my local garage and they advised a new engine as it would work out cheaper than messing arround twith the existing.

    I have the engine no. (20R89929) and model info DP112A20AJFK DFS.

    Could someone please help me in identifying the engine type so i can replace it with the correct version.
