Default any one know how to get email working on blackberry ?

as it says, just keep going round in circles. there sever asks for a password it sends your account. so how do i do this ? really banging my head now and been at it for 4 hours

ok this is how it goes

tick, i want to use a work email account with a blackberry enterprise server

has your blackberry enterprise server provided you with activation password

yes = enter email acc and password

no= pc suit set up takes you back to step 1

Right, are you actually trying to connect to an enterprise server or are you trying to connect to a POP3/IMAP email account? (if POP3/IMAP you're going about it the wrong way - you need to login to the Blackberry setup pages on your network providor's website).

The site you'll need for Vodafone is:

    http://www.mobileemail.vodafone.net/

You should have had this in the paperwork supplied with the Blackberry from Vodafone? (is it a new one?)

What cost did they quote to add it to your contract? Sometimes it can be quite reasonable.

    What?! £10!

If you're already paying £42.50pm it should be in the £3-6 region!

Ring'em back and threaten to cancel.
