Default Rolling Roads and Warranty - Heads Up.

    Read this on Club VS.

    http://www.clubvs.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=7471

I know that TV have a disclaimer warning people about this but this is the first time I've heard of Vauxhall following it up.

Time to cover up number plates at RR events it seems. Hope Colin isn't too much out of pocket getting this sorted now.

That's one of the many reasons I haven't been tempted to put a box or remap on my car.

When it's out of warranty, I may change my mind, but until then she's a plodding 150 and it seems, all the better for it.

Well in a way people who mod their cars and then expect warranty work for free when they break expensive parts are just making it harder for people who run unmodded cars harder to get geninue claims through.

    Read the disclaimers people
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Sorry but little sympathy in these cases, yes it sucks, and i do feel for the people concerned, but such is life!
Its all well and god having these Mods, and showing them off in magazines etc, but if Vx, or Insurance cmpanies see them, and you have been a little leinient with the truth, then you almost deserve to get caught!!
    Always read the smal print!!!

Well the guy could have said nothing but instead chose to warn others. We've had RR events on here where plates have not been covered so this was posted in the spirit of making everyone aware that the disclaimer in TV is for real.

I would like to request a Mod. close the thread now.

    Thanks.

Informative thread that serves as a warning indeed. Thread now being closed as requested by Steve but being left on the boards for information
